Buy a Bale will give you options to buy hay or feed for starving livestock to assist Australian farmers suffering in drought conditions. We have some of the worst drought affected farming in the world at the moment. Farmers are doing it tough. No amount is too small. A bale of hay is $20 and most households can easily afford that. Plus all donations are tax deductible.
Things you can do to help include:
1/ Donate to purchase hay, water, groceries, diesel to carry hay or a general donation
2/ Register to have a donation barrel in your workplace
3/ Get a Hay Truck poster for your workplace and have a competition to see who can fill it fastest.
4/ Register as a supporter and for every $500 you help raise you’ll receive a $50 Giftcard
6/ Sponsor part or a whole truck of hay

Every $4.40 transports hay one kilometer anywhere in Australia buying diesel fuel
Every $250 delivers 11,500 litres of water to a farm within 100 km of collection point
Only $52.50 buys a hamper for a farmer through their local supermarket
My brother lives near Mansfield and has no town water supply. He bought drinking water to fill his tanks for 6 months of last year.
A client from Gippsland visited our office this week and told us that they have had less than one years usual rain fall over the last two years and he will be irrigating weeks earlier than he is usually allowed this year because of the drought. If he didn’t have irrigation rights, he would be in major trouble.
