Janet Spencer announced a finalist REIV Awards for Excellence 2016
I am very happy to announce that I am a finalist in the REIV Awards for excellence 2016 in the Buyers Agent of the Year category.
Having won previously in 2012, 2013 and 2014, it would be a dream to take home the award again this year.
A lot of hard work goes into making the grade for the REIV Awards for Excellence. The application process is very rigorous and includes seven detailed criteria to address which cover areas including leadership and contribution to the industry, business challenges, risk management and even innovation.
Making it into the top three finalists in Victoria was no easy task. The 2015 / 2016 year has been monumental in the buying side of the business. Many challenges have been thrown at my Buyers Agents including ever indexing prices for property, changing lending criteria, the federal election and talk of property taxes changing and much more.
It’s not only my own business which keeps me busy and committed to the industry. Outside of running Buyer Solutions, I thoroughly enjoy my work on the REIV Buyers Agent Chapter, the REIV Members Council, numerous sub-committees and as Victorian Representative for REBAA. Watching and actively contributing to the Buyers Agent industry growth and improvement over the past 20 years has been incredibly rewarding.
Notably, in a boutique business like Buyer Solutions, my team help enormously to get across the work required to be eligible to enter this award, let alone to win. So, a huge thank you to the Buyer Solutions team for all their hard work over the past 12 months. In a temperamental industry having a reliable and trustworthy team is paramount.
