Janet Spencer Wins REIV Buyers Agent of the Year 2013
The Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) Awards for Excellence 2013 were held at Crown Palladium on Thursday 17 October 2013 and Janet Spencer of BuyerSolutions.com.au in Kew received the ‘Buyer’s Agent of the Year’ Award for the second year in a row.
As a finalist for the previous four years (2009 – 2012) and a finalist in the national awards in 2013, Janet was thrilled to receive the REIV award over six other finalists in 2013. She is now eligible for the REIA Award for Excellence in Hobart on 20 March 2014.

Janet was pleased to accept the award given the increased amount of competition this year. ‘In today’s real estate market, Buyer’s Agents need to constantly update their knowledge, skills, branding and technology. We need to provide superior customer service and results for our clients.’

Janet has a distinguished real estate career. She has been buying and selling real estate across Victoria since 1988 and established her boutique buyer’s advocate agency in 2001.
She has been the Chairperson of the Buyers Agents Chapter of the REIV for four terms and is serving her tenth consecutive elected year on the Buyer’s Agent Chapter and Members Council of the REIV.

Janet is a member of Real Estate Buyers Agent Association of Australia (REBAA) and the State Representative for Victoria. She is the Victorian Blogger for REBAA.
She also writes on the topic of property for Expert View (part of realestateview.com.au), OpenForum.com.au and her own Blog at blog.buyersolutions.com.au and is regularly quoted in local and national print and online media.
